Can I change my delivery address or change/cancel my order if it hasn't been shipped yet?

Can I place an order over the phone?

Yes! If you would like to place an order over the phone, you can reach us at (563) 778-2719. Our hours of business are Monday - Friday 9AM - 5PM Central Standard Time. If you reach us after hours, please leave a message and we will get back to you as soon as possible.

Do I have to create an account to checkout?

No, if you do not wish to create an account you can use the guest checkout option.

What payment methods do you accept?

Goerend Transmission Proudly Supports Our Military Personnel with  a 5% discount on all retail parts! We accept a variety of readily available & approved documentation - Please call us to qualify for the discount (563) 778-2719. 

Warranty/Returns:

Different warranties apply for torque converters. Refer to your invoice. No warranty on stock stators. Warranty does not include loss of time, use, towing, installation, freight or per diem damages. To transfer warranty your original invoice must be provided. We do not accept returns after 15 days of the delivery date unless there are extenuating circumstances. We may at our discretion refuse to authorize your return or charge up to a 20% restocking fee. 

Shipping:

Please note that the shipping rates for many items we sell are weight-based. Our shipping costs include insurance for our products to safely reach their end destination - YOU! Know that they will get to you safely, guaranteed!

Cores: 

The core that is returned to Goerend Transmission must be a useable core of the same model. When we receive a useable core of the same model that has not been modified, the core charge will be refunded with a credit to your credit card. The $300 core charge IS A DEPOSIT - not the price to keep your core. 

Core Return Process: 

Backing Plate:

We need your stock backing plate returned to us. After you return the stock backing plate, it will be inspected and we will refund the $40 charge to your credit card. 

Converters: 

To receive your full core deposit amount back, your core must be usable, of the same model (i.e. 47RE, 48RE, ETC), & NOT be modified. 

BEFORE sending in your converter core:

1) Drain the core (place upside down for 1 day to allow fluid to drain out)

2) Place your core in the same heavy duty box it was shipped to you in.

3) Place the hub cap back on the converter hub. 

4) Use sufficient packaging to send back your converter - any damage that happens                                                  while in transit will be the responsibility of the customer. 

5) Include a note with your NAME, PHONE NUMBER, & INVOICE NUMBER (Or include a copy of the invoice)

6) Your warranty will be VOID if the core is not returned to Goerend Transmission within 45 days. 

Valve Bodies: 

To receive your full core deposit amount back, your core must be usable, of the same model (i.e. 47RE, 48RE, ETC), & NOT be modified. 

BEFORE sending in your valve body core:

1) Package the valve body core in a new sealed plastic bag. 

2) Protect the VB with sufficient packing material - it is extremely fragile. If the VB is damaged in transit - it will be the responsibility of the customer & may affect the core refund amount. 

3) Place a note in the box including your NAME, PHONE NUMBER, & INVOICE # (Or a copy of the invoice)

4) Your warranty will be VOID if the core is not returned to Goerend Transmission within 45 days.
