Manufactured by Goerend Transmission, this pan is constructed of lightweight, cast-aluminum for efficient heat dissipation, durability, and holds 2.5 quarts more fluid than stock (which has been tested to be the best amount). This patented sloped floor design results in 100% drainage, yet has a flat bottom for easy installation. The billet-aluminum lowering block positions the filter in the optimum position, and the magnetic drain plug with a copper sealing ring grabs any possible worn gear material - keeping the fluid at its best while creating a leak proof seal. The drain plug also uses a 1 inch socket for easy removal & is designed NOT TO STRIP!

  2. best transmission pan ever !! 5 Star Review

I have used a different brand of transmission pans in the past. I didn't like the Allen head drain plug, which can strip out and make it difficult to remove the plug. I saw pictures of the Goerend pan, when it first hit the market and knew I had to have one. I recently had a transmission built with Goerend parts and my first request was the Goerend transmission pan. Looking at it from the outside, the oil pan tapers to the middle, where the hex-head drain plug is located. Looks like a better way to drain the oil, without making a mess. Thanks Goerend !!

  3. Comes with everything! 5 Star Review

The pan is flawlessly designed plus there's all the hardware, filter, and lots of other literature to read up on that is included with the purchase. Super happy with my first Goerend purchase!
