Our 4C piston return spring retainer assembly has billet upper and lower retainers that capture the snap ring. This insures that the snap ring will not be displaced from its groove and cause clutch failure. Unlike other aftermarket retainer assemblies, our upper and lower retainers are bolted together. This is done to prevent each retainer from rotating against each other, rolling its springs over.
