Description
The lockup boost valve/sleeve assembly in Aisin Seiki AS66RC, AS69RC and RE6R01A transmissions is prone to wear. As the sleeve oscillates from vibrational forces and the valve strokes over time, the wear that occurs prevents proper hydraulic control of the lockup control valve, resulting in a multitude of TCC complaints. Some common symptoms of these side-effects can be TCC slip, TCC slip codes and TCC apply and release concerns. Installing Sonnax drop-in lockup boost valve kit 122740-30K will restore normal TCC operations by re-establishing the proper hydraulic integrity of the Lockup control circuit.
