Accumulator Cover Plate Kit

The accumulator plate in Chrysler 68RFE units is weak and not held securely enough to withstand the impact of the accumulator pistons. The OE plate flexes, causing the screws to loosen and break.

Sonnax accumulator cover plate kit 44892-01K is an upgrade over the OE plate and allows salvage of valve bodies with damaged plates. The patented plate is made of thicker steel and has three additional screw holes to hold the plate more securely. 

• Accumulator plate made from stronger, thicker material to prevent flexing
• Three additional mounting holes and high torque-rated screws prevent the plate or screws from coming loose from normal vibration
• Specially graded tap provides higher torque yield threads
