Accumulator Piston Kit

OE accumulator pistons have two seal rings. When this OE accumulator piston is side-loaded into the valve body assembly, it contacts the bore due to its small seal groove diameter, resulting in scuffing, wear and clutch apply pressure leakage.

The Goerend accumulator piston kit consists of five accumulator pistons made from 6061 billet aluminum and their accompanying seals. A guide seal is located at each end of the accumulator piston. One oil seal located in the middle of the piston. The seal location on our accumulator pistons prevent any bore scuffing.
